Every child deserves to feel included, supported, and ready to learn. This year, our Cannon community has grown as we welcome students and families from Dove Elementary following its closure. We are one Cub community, and caring for one another is part of what makes Cannon special.
Why support is especially important this year
With this transition, Cannon is serving more economically disadvantaged students. At the same time, Title I supports previously available at Dove are no longer in place for these students at Cannon. Families’ needs have not gone away, and this gap makes community support especially important.
We are asking our Cannon families, friends, and neighbors to come together in support of Cubs facing financial barriers. Whether your family is new to Cannon or has been here for years, every child belongs.
